Who the funk was this group?

I had no idea Babyface was even in a group BEFORE The Deele




somebody got 2 do edufunkation 2 me.

Actually they were really big here in Indy (in Face's howntown)


I saw them in concert. I was about ten years old though lol I went to some concert with my parents.

That was their second release .
The cat in the middle , wearing a blue outfit , is Reggie Griggin , brother of studio-drummer Rayford Griffin .
Reggie released 2 albums ( on Sugar Hill & Qwest ) and later became A&R manager for Warner Brothers .
He co-produced the remake of I Feel For You by Chaka Khan

He also played in a band called "The crowd pleasers" A musician freind of mine Used to tell me stories of him. I was also told he played in a band called the buckeye politicians here in columbus Ohio waaaaayyyyy back.
