I don't think you can be a pop culture snob. That's like saying you are a snob of a certain McDonalds or soda pop.

Pop culture is the culture of the masses and in that the masses are usually wrong. They respond to easily digested bits of flickering screens and ugly humor, usually aimed at the lower classes. They sneer at anything that can be considered high culture.

I used to own both 'Dance, Ya Know It' and 'Forever Your Girl'. boxed

They have both since been sold on ebay. But my 'Daydream Nation', 'Goo' and 'Dirty' CDs are keepers.

I find music magazines like Q pretenious, and they are meant to be pop magazines, yet they feed off whats popular. They should be telling other people what pop to buy, not the other way round.

Like Q think lyie minogue is the be and end all of pop. Just because they like her arse.
