I don't get it... Did Dr. Dre produce "In Da Club?" or is there a remix he is on with 50 Cent? I thought Eminem produced 50's music. However, I don't follow the details with rap these days. Can you or someone else fill me in..?

I heard a sample of it on iTunes (after the fact I looked and there it was) It wasn't as good as I thought it would be without the rapping. Maybe 50 does add something to that awesome beat, as much as I hate to say it.

And the beat made the song. the beat didnt make the song, 50 Cent made the song a classic, with the catchy opening go shorty, then the hook, to the bridge, it is probably the best rap single ever to go to number #1, it is just a crazy record, and the funny thing is everybody in rap and the aftermath clique passed up on this song, and 50 heard it and just ripped that track up.

I'm trying to follow you. Are you saying compare Nas' and Jigga's singles to Fitty's and he isn't average? I disagree. "Made You Look" and "H.O.V.A." are superior lyrically. And surely you don't mean to suggest that Prince "dumbed down" his sound for Purple Rain. if u heard 50 before he got signed, he use to be Nas's rhyme buddy back in the day, and he easily hanged with Nas on every track they did 2gether.
Interesting. I know Fitty's been around for a hot minute, but maybe if you post lyric for lyric I'll see. I personally listen to much less hip-hop than backinaday. It's hard to imagine Fitty even being close to Nas' level, but find the lyrics, post'em and make your case. We were talking about "In Da Club," though. Read those lyrics and they're pretty basic. Even you admit Fitty dumbed them down, so to speak. 50 is hated on mostly because of his success and the fact that he is cocky, not because of talent, because Get RIch Or Die Trying is one of the only albums that ever lived up to expectations critically and commercially, there isnt a bad song on Get Rich Or Die Trying.
Fitty isn't hated or loved by me. I do think he's a pale imitation of Tupac, and that his skills are average on the mic. But hey, he doesn't need my hate OR my love. He's rich. Good night, sweet Prince | 7 June 1958 - 21 April 2016

LOL@ this person telling me get lyrics,is this how u judge rappers you read there lyrics, then all these wordsmith underground rappers who make nosense must be your favorite rappers too. LISTEN to the songs, dont read no lyrics. If you want songs search for them, trust me 50 Cent is a monster and can get very lyrical when he wants too, cop his true first LP Power Of Dollar, or 50 Cent is the future I'm trying to follow you. Are you saying compare Nas' and Jigga's singles to Fitty's and he isn't average? I disagree. "Made You Look" and "H.O.V.A." are superior lyrically.
are Made You Look and HOVA commercial songs, nope if you want to compare Made You Look to Many Men that is a valid reason but compare Nastradamus or Braveheart Party to In Da Club, or compare Change CLothes or One of Jay-z many lame singles he has released in his time. Fitty isn't hated or loved by me. I do think he's a pale imitation of Tupac, and that his skills are average on the mic. But hey, he doesn't need my hate OR my love. He's rich.
50 and Tupac arent the same are even remotely alike, people always suck Tupac off like he was great on the mic, he was average also, Tupac was a wanna be Ice mixed with Chuck D, and just another person who rarely listens to rap and calls everybody a fake tupac
