I really watched and was itnerested in the second to last "American Idol" contest and my favorite by far was Vonzell, who really had a way with classic R&B and dance. I wonder what she is up to....why hasn't she been signed to a label? It's a shame that some of the idol contests never go any where..I hope she has a shot and does a really good album!

I've been thinking about the exact same thing. I liked her better than either Bice or Underwood.

She's signed with Dallas Austin's label and a single or something should be on the way...

I've been keping up with season 2 showstopper Trenyce who I think was the overall BEST AI performer period ("Let's Stay Together" anyone? "Love Sneakin Up On You"???)

Suffice it to say she's been doing a little bit of everything. She was the lead in the musical "Not A Day Goes By" a couple years ago. She's the lead in a midwest tour of Dreamgirls next month. She headlined with KLF during a tour of Russia, where she's going back along with a 6 month European stint latter this year. She's currentl doing Vegas (V; The Ultimate Variety Show) and Dionne Warwick was so impressed that she personally alled Clive Davis on her behalf, for which Trenyce's people sent her package over immediately.

There's been rumors that the AI people didn't like Trenyce (Simon hated her) and that there might be some blackballing on their part concerning Trenyce. She was supposed to drop some serious science on that Corey Clark debacle on Primetime Live but they nixed all her stuff for legal reasons. All I can say is no one deserves success from this show more then her. It's like she came out a star fully formed.
