Soulive at The Roxy

Friday night's Roxy show in Hollyweird was typical Soulive...

...Throw down from the opening number and don't let up.
It's great when you can count on an act to be consistently good. thumbs up!
Reggie on vocals but no horns this trip.

Myself and some folks I met there were asked to sit in the $100 minimum area.
confuse Maybe they thought we were record execs or something. pimp2

wink Of course we obliged them. martini

Working on the Cristal-stocked "state room" for the next show. cool

No bootleg audio. no no no!
Although I don't think they'd care.

I believe they've been around as a band since the end of the '90s.

As you know, I saw them in NYC last Fall.....awesome.
But according to your star treatment, I'm going with you the next time! tease
And because of my mild allergy to alcoholic beverages, I will enjoy a nice glass of water water while you have a champagne flute filled with Cristal martini

How's this:
6/17/06 - Indy Jazz Festival - 7:30pm (Military Park)

Regarding The Cristal Room, you're most welcome. batting eyes
However we'll have to build one in The Roxy first. confused
(There's always the infamous Rainbow next door.) wink

They have been around since 1999-easily 1 of the funkiest, tightest bands around today. Go see them u won't be disappointed. I will be seeing them on June 16 at the Rochester Jazz Fest.
