You should check out Jon Gibson. That brother can do dead-on Stevie Wonder (and has, on occasion). A great singer, in his own right.

What about the dude from the schol daze soundtrack? He did a song called "i can only be me", that was uncanny. Nice little song. Anyway, check out the download. Its produced by michael omartian. Tell me what u think? I think he nails the vocals very well.

Look up Bill Wolfer. Now there's someone who sounds like Stevie. Of course Stevie himself did backing vocals on a couple of songs, but that's beside the point.

Bill Wolfer used Jon Gibson on the vocals, the guy that Threadbare was referring to earlier in this thread--especially on tunes like "Why Do You Do Me", and "Wake Up".... Wolfer played keyboards, did the writing and arranging...Gibson did the vocals...and yup, Stevie himself showed up to do background on a tune, and also played Harmonica on "Soaring"...btw, Michael Jackson added some backing vocals , too... ... Nobody can sing like Stevie Wonder....and no one can do his songs like he does...he always has been an 'orginal' and will go down in music history as such. He has been blessed with an amazing and unique voice. I have never tired of hearing old or new Stevie Wonder stuff for so many years I cannot count them!
Can we make sure he lives forever? "Love and compassion are necessities, not luxuries. Without them humanity cannot survive."
