Sean Preston falls again...

Britney Breaks Down After Almost Dropping Her Baby
Spears overcome by emotion after incident
By TMZ.COM STAFF
(May 19, 11:55AM ET) -- It was too much for Britney Spears to take. Shortly after stumbling on a New York street and almost dropping Sean Preston, Britney broke down crying.
On Thursday, Britney was leaving the Ritz Carlton Hotel in New York. As she maneuvered through the crowd of onlookers, holding a glass in one hand and her baby in the other, she tripped. Sean's hat flew off, his head snapped back and a bodyguard made the precious save.
After the incident, Britney went to FAO Schwartz with Sean, shopped around and then went to a nearby restaurant where she sat with Sean in hand. She was all smiles with the waitress and she and an unidentified woman ordered. Then, suddenly, Britney broke down and began crying. She tried to mask the emotion by using her baby to shield her face. Britney then took Sean to the bathroom where we're told she reapplied her makeup and then left.

this is true and it looks like she had a pretty good grip on the baby. My nephew was strong willed and at 10 months old when my sister would hold him he would flip himself back with all his strength, one time he flipped himself right out of her arms eek But he was OK thank God.

Yeah, cut this girl some slack.

it's like she replaced her spawn for that chihuahua she always used to carry around. i appreciate that she's anti-stroller (BELIEVE ME), but she could at least invest in a papoose.

Yeah they really need to leave her alone. She's a new mother and the "stalkerazzi" is always hounding her so she's already a nervous wreck. They would've a had a field day if she had dropped that little baby and that's pathetic. sad

she probably broke down crying because she knew a photo of the stumble would be everywhere in a matter of hours. i couldn't imagine the pressure of having to be perfect when everything you do (no matter what) is criticized anyway.

Why are you "anti-stroller"?

because the size of the average stroller these days is beginning to rival that of an SUV, and it's like running an obstacle course to walk down the street for a carton of milk because none of the people pushing these mammoth rikshaws can be bothered to watch where they're going. they need to sell rearview mirrors for those things - require licenses - SOMEthing. mad

Oh, come on! She wasn't dangling the baby from a damn window, for Christ's sake! Accidents happen, especially when you have people watching your every move and just waiting for one to happen.
'Cause your friends don't dance, and if they don't dance... well, they're no friends of mine.

So true. I was on the subway this morning and a woman had a stroller and between her and the stroller, she took up 3 seats. No one could get around her to sit down. She has so much shit in that stroller you could hardly see the child.

i'm SO over having to deal with someone else's decision to have kids. you want 'em, great, but some of us don't. don't expect me to jump out of your way if you can't be bothered to have courtesy for those of us who choose not to be parents.

This is true. I especially hate people who push them as if they're attempting to mow down pedestrians who are too slow to get out of the way. Did they ever think that if the person fell they'd most like fall on their precious kid and hurt--possibly kill--them?

That's the price of fame. If she can't deal with it, don't put yourself out there and move back to the trailer park. Personally, I wish this airhead would just disappear(along with Tom Cruise, Will Smith, Jennifer Hopez, Michael Jackson & Rush Limbaugh).

confused
While there is something to be said of having a Humvee for your child, unfortunately, sometimes there is a NEED for a stroller. Being the proud Papa of a four year old who happens to be DD, I speak from experience. There is no fucking way I could carry that boy to and fro all day, and seeing as he's barely walking, what options would you be able to suggest?

i DO kind of agree with this. i believe the media should be held to higher standards of conduct, but i also think that in america's celebrity-crazed culture, you don't go strolling around town with baby in your arms if you're mega famous.

Some dumb questions...

Has she ever heard of a stroller?

Has she ever heard of someone taking care of said child when she is out and about?

Has there ever been a person more deserving of a hysterectomy?

Or is the media SO on top of her, that regular incidents seem way too blown out of proportion?

Those things are a hazard on a crowded subway. You got MFers pushing you and you can't get in(or out), because of these g-damn SUV strollers.
