Michael Jackson and Bob Dylan Duet Yes, you did read that right. In 1987 Michael Jackson and Bob Dylan performed a duet on stage together for Elizabeth Taylor's 55th birthday. I just wondered if anyone had any details about it, like what song they sang, was any footage of it ever broadcast, any photos, etc. I can't think of any footage I'd be more interested in seeing than this. Not even Kelis and Kylie naked in a bubblebath.

Now, consider this. Kelis and Kylie naked in a bubblebath vs Bob Dylan in mullet/Hearts of Fire/Don't give a flying fuck about my career so I'm starring in a film with Rupert Everett & Jacko in my face is falling to pieces Part 79 mode. Guess what I'm going for ...? [Edited 5/21/06 16:26pm] There are three sides to every story. My side, your side, and the truth. And no one is lying. Memories shared serve each one differently

It does sound like a recipe for disaster, doesn't it, but I like bizarre pairings. BD commentators tend to use it as an example of how lost he was in the 80s (see Shapeshifters post) and MJ people I don't think even know about it. Since Michael has got home video footage of everything he's ever done (except in the bedroom) there will certainly be recordings of this. Surprising that none seem to have leaked.
