Your Favorite Basslines. What are your favorite basslines?
Some of my favorites include Very Yes, Wizard Of Finance and Give Up The Funk (Tear The Roof Off The Sucka) It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

Cars - Gary Numan Touch and Dont U Know I Love U - Chuckii Booker Funky Enough - The D.O.C. (i know its a sample,...but dont know who it is.) ANY Rockabilly style Slap Bass. (Stray Cats, Bill Haley, Elvis Presley, etc.) Hot Thing - Prince (its probably more of a tuned percussive part,..but it sure influeneced all bass lines after it.) ANYTHING by Robert Shakespere..from Sly and Robbie. (He is the bass incarnate!) ANY synthbass by Jane Child. (She is the queen of funk synth bass.) | |
