In the spring of '83,the song "Juicy Fruit" was HOT!! That was da jam back in the day! I still play that one all the time...
"Cherry blossom kiss, what you're givin' Makes my body rock, keeps me sizzling Do what you want,I don't care I'll be your lollipop, you can lick me everywhere" They had a few other great songs after "Juicy Fruit"... ***"Green Light"(1983) ***"Would You Like To Fool Around"(1983) ***"You,Me and He"(1984) ***"C.O.D.(I'll Deliver)"(1984) ***"Breathless"(1986)

I was a fan of Mtume. Following the group's demise, lead singer Tawatha Agee did a lot of background vocal work with Luther Vandross -- even toured with him if I'm not mistaken.
My favorite of the Mtume/Lucas productions is 'The Closer I Get To You' by Roberta Flack and Donny Hathaway.
