Soul--jazz greats Tuck & Patti.

One of my fave finds. I hear this song, Dream on public radio, and it ends up being one of my favorite songs. So, I buy the album, and really enjoy the subtle, soul, jazz; just one man with guitar and good jazz/soul singing from his wife Patti Cathcart. Tuck is easily one of the finest jazz guitarists since George Benson. I saw this group in concert and Tuck could kick Prince's ass on jazz guitar. They are just a great group, with that fine chill sound. You go to their website, and buy their albums. We need to start supporting more smaller artists, not just the big guys.

Lots of free mp3's to listen to. Pretty generous of them, I'd say. And, this is the legal way...lol

Try to hear Dream or The Voodoo music. Great.

Tuck Andress is no joke. Patti's a smooth vocalist. But, dang, Tuck smokes.

Agreed. And seeing the LIVE is an incredible experience. Their level of synchronicity will simply blow you over in live performance cool

Great music. Great love story. I actually prefer their version of "Time After Time" over Cyndi Lauper's. Tuck Andress is an amazing guitar player.

Tuck's an amazing guitar player. i had a chance to catch them live and for only 2 people on stage they have a very big sound, thanks to Tuck playing the chords, basslines, melodies and counter melodies all at the same time! eek lol

are they still on the Windamhill Label err is that label even around anymore? lol

Yea, I heard the bass at the same time. That tripped me out. Can Prince do that? I think not.

I can't say i've heard P duplicate that style. But his rhythm playing is pretty tight. 1+1+1 is 3, on "Vegas?" whofarted He incorporates some bass riffs into his playing.

I've been hip to Tuck and Patti for a long time. . .I think I first saw them back in the early 90's, if not before, on television. They only get better. . .and Tuck--unbelievable.
