Musicians and reality tv

What do you think of musicians on reality tv shows? Do you think it damages their musical integrity? For instance, I could NOT stop laughing (and feeling sorrow at the same time) for INXS when they did the "Rock Star" tv show to find a lead singer. That is an insult IMO..this is INXS, not the Monkees. Same with TLC. Then there's SUPERGROUP with Sebastian Bach and I hear that Tommy Lee is gonna do one. When will it end! LOL!

I don't have a problem with musicians on reality tv shows, as long as the show is focused on them performing and writing music. I have no problem with Rock Star or Supergroup etc. Reality television is a fact of life that musicians would be foolish not to take advantage of.
However, I don't approve of reality shows that put a camera in someone's house or where people live together in a place, and focus on their personal lives. like for example Celebrity Big Brother, the Surreal Life, Ozzy Osbourne or Nick and Jessica Simpson. I think those are really tacky and feel sorry for people on those shows.

Depends on the celeb. Some have the charisma to pull this off.
Tommy Lee is one of these people. Paris Hilton is too, in a way...but that's more of a novelty.

I saw a couple of the TLC episodes. Wasn't a good move for them. For some, probably most, it's simply better not to know.
Why do you like playing around with my narrow scope of reality? - Stupify
