Smart decision making, although the songs been out for a while.. very good idea to let a track on the album free, get much recognition doing so.

That's a really cool selection from that album. His team was smart for putting this track out. Got a Stevie Wonder sound to it. I imagine this is his latest single from the album. A video should be out there, too, along with the coming Multiply Additions disc.
When does that drop again?

I know so many people who like this guy, but I just can't get into it. Do we really need another Jamiroquai? I'd say he's more like semi-colon than a question mark.

When does that drop again? not quite sure.. its leaked already tho. i gotta memorize, May 30. from billboard U.K. soul/electronica purveyor Jamie Lidell will release a collection of remixes and live cuts, "Multiply Additions," May 30 via Warp. The album is a companion to his 2005 release "Multiply" and features contributions from Luke Vibert, Four Tet, Gonzales, Freeform Five and Herbert. One live track each was recorded in London and Paris.

I don't get the Jamiroquai comparison at all. That's just plain weird and non sequitur.
Jamiroquai are on some disco shit with big horns and big instruments, while Lidell is off on a more electronic/soul-conscious path. More minimalist.

You all seriously can't hear it? At least in the 2 tracks I've heard, Multiply and the one on iTunes, it's a pretentious Stevie ripoff, just like (at least early) Jamiroquai.

wow, a stevie rip off now? are we talking about the same person here? sheesh Look up the history on this guy, he is an electronic artist.. he ain't tryin to be no'one but himself. Just because he has a soulful voice, and a few tracks of his latest album reflect a certian style you might want to relate to steve.. or as crazy as of a comparison.. Jamiroquai, doesnt make him a stevie ripoff.. and a pretentious one at that. This guy slices joints from all angles.. one certian song isn't gonna define his musical genre. I'm just saying. I don't know the history of the guy, I admit. I've heard 2 songs, but those of those sound like uninspired Stevie-via-Jamiroquai rips, and obviously, I'm not the first to say it.
