Name Artists or Bands who are completly devoid of the Funk

not only in their music, but in their lifestyle. Artists who have never been funky, could never be funky, and will never be funky.

Pet Shop Boys
Depeche Mode
Marilyn Manson
Slipknot

All of those other horrible bands that teens love like Blink 182, Wheatus etc.

They are all totally devoid of funk musically so devoid of funk full stop.
The Funk, the whole funk & nothin' but the funk, ya dig?!

Novabreaker

Marilyn Manson has had funk elements in his music, a lot. So have the Pet Shop Boys and Depeche Mode, neither of those names are certainly devoid of funk.

Ok maybe not by Chuck Berry. How the hell you say in English that that song was based on one song by Chuck Berry????

Sorry my portuguese sometimes make me mad.

From Wikipedia:

"[Come together] was the subject of a lawsuit brought against Lennon by Chuck Berry's music publisher, Morris Levy, due to the fact that one line in "Come Together" closely resembled a line of Berry's You Can't Catch Me: (i.e. The Beatles' "Here come ol' flattop, he come groovin' up slowly" vs. Berry's "Here come up flattop, he was groovin' up with me")." wink

Strawberry Fields Forever (Take 7 & Edit Piece) from Anthology 2. The drum solo by Ringo after 3 min. is very funky.
