Last year I started listening to the Kinks. They were much different than the stuff I'd heard on the radio--not just catchy rockers. Underrated British invasion band.
This is not a dig at her or her fans, but Danni Minogue has a greatest hits album? Where have I been during her career? My Legacy

I'm just now discovering more / getting into...
Robbie Williams :: feeling his material pre-Escapology BBMak :: re-discovering them post-their break up. They've made some really beautiful, melodic tunes Quincy Jones [early 80s output] :: I know of his stuff with Mike Jack, but I'm really wanting to get into more of his stuff outside of the gloved one. Recently discovered "Ai No Corrida" thanks to hearing it on a Presets mixtape Gary Numan :: The Pleasure Principle (1979) [I'm slowly hearing each track one by one, but I'm liking this album a lot] Eric Prydz :: His '04 hit "Call On Me" is old news now, but I recently started getting into him since this dance club I go to plays this track a lot. Also, I'm discovering his crew the Swedish House Mafia more and I'm digging into more tech house The Eurogliders :: Heard "Heaven Must Be There" and I love it .... [Edited 5/21/06 18:26pm] | |
