McCartney's wealth was estimated at $1.5 billion by the Sunday Times in their annual list of Britain's richest people. The couple are believed not to have a prenuptial agreement.

That's funny, because the UK Sunday Times did one last year and he was £500 million, which is about half that.

That holds true more often than not....

I have a friend involved with someone 20 years younger....the above quoted lyric is a question anyone should ask when involved with a younger person....

However Paul and Heather did ~by appearance~ seem to be a valid and "in love" (whatever the h_ll that is) married couple....

Does anyone else find her similar to Linda? I think she looks like Linda, has similar interests in philathropic work like Linda, etc....

I find it all a bit sad, really....

Let's just hope they both get through this. It must be a terrible situation. Sure, a lot of relationships end all the time, but when money is involved, it must be a bit harder.

They should ship Paul & Heather off to an ice floe somewhere so they can commune with the seals.

I like Heather Mills Mc Cartney...I've found that the work she does on behalf of children in war torn regions is nonthing less than above reproach, and I also like the work she does on behalf of the hundreds of thousands of people losing limbs to landmine explosions in areas where we simply haven't removed them...even decades after we end conflicts with these nations...it's kind of macabre that these mines have not been removed, and in turn the people who are victims of mine tragedies have to pay upawards of several thousand dollars for limbs that cost westerners approx. $700...I'll alway dig her for this cause,in spite of the fact that she gets a bit "shrill" in the voice when she's advocating animal rights on television at times.

Even though I'm a tried and true carnivore, I still respect vegetarians and animal rights activists, and particularly those who have the courage to go out and stump for their beliefs...but in all frankness, the times that I have seen Heather go out and do press for animal rights causes she supports, she becomes nothing less than SHRILL and ANNIAHILATIVE---as much in bad tatse as this might sound, I've had moments where I would wonder if Heather, in opposition to members of discussion panels where she was guesting, was not on the verge of taking off her leg and cracking some of these guys across the head...I mean, this is a strong lady, an informed formed lady, and a verbally articulate one at that...but there are some moments when she can get PRETTY SCRAPPY, like she might pop you one in the mouth if you don't open your mind to seeing viewpoints other than what you're accustomed to lol lol lol ...of course, this is a characteristic that I've found somewhat appealing through the years cool

I do also remember though, seeing an American interviewer ask her once about her relationship with Sir Paul, and whether or not she felt inadaquate as a girlfriend or potential wife to him because of her (presumed) "disability"... she told them FLAT OUT that she didn't consider herself any less of a human being just because she was missing a limb, and that if ANY man, Sir Paul included had any misgivings about being with her because she lost a leg, then he could move the hell on and out of the way and so she could find somebody else who would see here for her heart (!) highfive I rather liked that point of view, actually cool

Linda Eastman - ya know, Eastman Kodak.

no not them. her family made their money as entertainment attorney's as well as her(linda's) mother inheriting and good deal of money.

linda was a photographer but no relation to the film and camera company people.

Lee Eastman got Paul paid. He got Paul into buying Music Publishing Catalogs.

Everytime we hear "White Christmas" or "Stormy Weather" we are hearing Heather's alimony.

Everytime we buy a Beatles CD we will be funding MJ and now a piece of the writers share that Paul was getting may also be going to Heather.

WTF was Sir P thinking????? I guess it's true that pot kills brain cells.

$376m - that's B.S. What did she do to earn it? They weren't even married that long! All Sir P owes her is child support. It's not his responsibility to provide for her lifestyle - let her go out and write some f-n songs. Same thing applies if the roles are reversed and the woman is the primary earner.

Marriage is so f-d up these days - it's all about getting paid.

You know... I quite like her. When she's talking about animal rights; prosphetic limbs or land mines, I like her.

I just don't know if they're right for each other.

Anyway - it's a separation, not a divorce. They might get back together.

two questions:
why do people always assume it's primarily a money thing?

why are men(and some women in the same position) so selfish? why is it such a problem to support someone you claimed to love and promised to take care of anyway? she would still haveaccess to all his bazillions if stay married. it's so fucked up! and who wants a bastrad who cared more about his money then his family and children?

PS
i do agree that yoko is devil but she didn't break up the beatles and john wanted someone to dominate him so it's on him too. john coul've left or stayed gone.
