The Earthquake tragedy....Musicians need to step forward

This topic is part music part politics, obviously what has just happend with this Earthquake is one of the most devastating tragedies, i dont think people in America really understand tragedy unless its all about them. This is mainly the whole 9/11 mentality, when something happens to us its better than when its happen to that part of the world, or it means more, this is the reason for the Hate of US from other countries.

Well its time for the Artists/Musicians to step it up, its sad that a tragedy like this makes us care, but thats the way the human mind operates. If the so-called artists feel their music is a gift from god then donate 100% of your concert proceeds, And i say 100% because im tired of hearing "a portion of Tonites proceeds will be going to...." I did some research, that portion that they speak of is about 5-10% even less in most cases. So a challenge to the artists stepping out on tour and charging their "fans" 150-600 dollars for tickets, show your true gift and give one show, 100% away, can U imagine if Madonna, Prince, Mariah did that for one show each. And it can be done, i recently went to a club in the city and the Band that played gave their whole check to MS research, sure it wasnt much but its a Local band that makes NOTHING and they gave Everything. So Madonna as U hang on that "Cross" and Prince as you decorate Vegas all purple, think of your gift and give.

Novabreaker

My last album sold 17 copies. I really want to keep all the money I made from that one to myself. Call me selfish, but that's the way I've chosen to handle it.
