If I'm not mistaken, she was under Clive Davis's label then(1987).

I'm happy that she finds comfort in doing the backstage show music directing thing but I'd love to see her coming back with an album. A self-pinned/composed album with the help of Freddie 'Ready' Washington, Charles Veal Jr., her back-up ensemble and the whole gang.

I love her take on Brazillian jazz and she truely captures the San Fransisco musical atmospher nod
