The basis of my Rene comments (and I could be wrong, just as I could be right) are quotes they've both made and, for me, the undeniable dip in quality of her songwriting after TVR. But here's where we can't have a mature discussion because you don't even realise there's been a dip. The fact that you're a daily visitor to Janet boards and are up on all the fan gossip tells me that you're not going to be very objective about this or have any mature musical judgement. Obsessives rarely do. There are MJ fans who can tell you every award he ever won and every chart statistic and yet still haven't figured out that he's gay.

I won't be responding to any replies you may wish to make for the simple reason that I don't respect you enough. How can I respect someone who thinks Damita Jo is a good album, who complains about the lack of songcraft in the modern pop climate then says how great Pink's songs are , who says how crap Madonna is then praises Janet and Kylie?
