Luther's Power Of Love i just dug this out of cd collection. i used to love the title track. it's quite a bearable r+b album from 1991. i think i love it. i remember thinking how polished the production was.

His vocal control on the title track is spine-tingling.

he really was a song stylist. i mean the dude had control over music and his voice. he wasn't no disco dolly.

This is my favorite Luther Vandross song
"When we walk down the street We don't care who we see or who we meet Don't need to run, don't need to hide" btw, the maxi single is usually very easy to find on ebay...

I love it.
I remember back in '91 my dad got me my first cd player and this disc to go with it. I played it as often as possible, letting the ballads sing me to sleep. I'd always loved Luther's voice, but respected him as a songwriter and arranger too. I can't see how anyone could listen to the duet with Martha Wash ("I Who Have Nothing") and not be moved. I still love Luther, and I miss him.
