Out of curiosity, what songs has he done with Bill Bottrell?

How could I forget one of my top 5 MJ songs? I love Morphine.

Bill Bottrell produced Give In To Me, Dangerous and Earth Song. Now that's a pretty impressive list.

Didn't he also co-produce Black or White? And I thought Dangerous was Teddy Riley.

I know Bill did co-produce Black or White. I'm not sure about Teddy Riley producing Dangerous. I'm at my internship right now, so I can't check the credits of the song.

Oh great!

Riley on board ...

More of the SAME shit, predictable sound then ...

What is MJ thinking of?

Riley's sound is over anyway.

Bill did not produce "Dangerous". He co-wrote it.

I disagree.

Remember The Time is a fun pop song but nothing spectacular. Jam & Lewis have worked on much of MJs best work... Is It Scary, History, Tabloid Junkie... he seems very passionate when he works with them. There's more passion in those few songs than the whole of Invincible.

I disagree. smile

Remember The Time is a great song, imo. Tabloid Junkie and History are, at best, average to my ears. I'll give you Is It Scary, tho'. That one's a gem. nod

And I think Mike's vocal performance on Don't Walk Away is one of his best. Lovely song. I dig all the tracks TR did with MJ on Invincible. Yes, even 2000 Watts. biggrin
So yeah, I'll take Teddy over Jam & Lewis anyday.

smile

I agree with all that u said. I totally forgot about "dont walk away". And damn, the first time i heard jacko's voice on "2000 watts" eek I was like, "that cant be mike can it?"

Teddy and jacko are my preferred team too. Having said that, i really liked jerkins trax on "invincible", and his work on "we've had enough" was fantastic too

roundables

I think using Teddy is going to make for a very dated sound.

I like the stuff Mike did with Rodney, too. They made some good steely funk together. nod
