What's up with that? I can't say I LOVE the new album, but it certainly seems to be as good as anything Kelly Clarkson does. Is she just over? Or do you think now she'll fully ditch the glossy pop sound and make an album worthwhile of her voice and politics?

Intimidation of an intelligent girl as well as talented. You can't be a pop star and be outspoken at the same time.

America loves its dumb bimbos like Lindsay and Paris, and young girls aspire to be like them.

I think she has something to say. I haven't heard the record but if for no other reason, she's developed into an artist that actually has something to add to the pop world besides sugary love songs (not that there's anything WRONG with those) I hope the album picks up. I'm sure that a lack of promotion on the part of the label has more to do with it than the actual quality of the record.

I quite like her music but that Stupid Girls video is so damn patronising.

Oh no, you're stupid if you play with Barbies and intelligent if you play Football. Oh, you're stupid if you've got big breasts (why exactly?). Oh, it's dumb to obsess about your weight all the time, but in the Making Of the video she protests that she's not allowed to eat any of the cupcakes she made for the crew.

Sad but true. They promoted the FUCK out of this one. I thought maybe "Try This" was a fluke and it came out too soon...but she'll always be the "Get the Party Started" girl. Plus she came on the scene along with Britney/NSync/Xtina so she's originally lumped in with them. And then "Lady Marmalade..." I just don't see a lot of commercial success in the cards, sadly. I think she's a great artist. But something about her is just so five minutes ago. I bought all 3 first albums but this one I haven't bothered...dunno why.

In another instance, Gwen's L.A.M.B. album didn't start moving units until the 2nd single "Rich Girl" and REALLY took off after "Hollaback Girl."

Unfortunately for P!nk, her latest album doesn't have super strong radio ready singles like Gwen's did, or even Missundaztood did.

It's a little sad that Kelly Clarkston stole P!nk's thunder with "Since U Been Gone." That was a song P!nk could've easily killed and owned, I'm surprised she didn't come close to challenging that on "I'm Not Dead."

Gwen and Kelly took Pink's career away!

For some reason, I get the impression P!nk is fronting a bit, she wants to give off the "tough-minded"/"serious young artist" image, but she's still towing the line between that and TRL acceptance.
