Angel and Can I Have It Like That are complete bullshit. I don't see songwriting and production talent in those songs, and those are the samples we have of this record that will never be released.

The Neptunes were hot for a minute in 2001.

Agreed.

That said I was really interested to hear his whole album...his/their production on "Caught out There," "Frontin" and "Slave 4 U" was all awesome IMHO

as well as

"Lavish" - Twista 2005
"Say Something" - Mariah 2005
"I Still Love You" - 702 2003 (?)
"Grindin'" - Clipse
Touch" - Omarion - 2005

some of my favorite productions of theirs...damn they go so much....

They've got a lot that sounds the same, that's for damn sure. I mean they had one brief period of inventiveness, then decided to copy the same shit over and over and over again.

I like Lavish a lot. I also like When I Get You Home (AEIOU). I'm not tossin' him to the curb yet.

I was just revisiting Let's Get Blown and Signs. I don't know what it is but I just love their stuff and take it for what it is. Actually, there's very little that I don't like but those 2 Pharrell songs really sucked and if they're any indicator of what's to come then I don't see him doing to well.

The world can do WITHOUT another pharell butchered ass falsetto.

Amen!...He needs to stay behind the board and as far away from the vocal booth as possible...he can afford to pay someone with vocal skills.

TOUCH!!!!!?????

U never heard Touch??? One of the greatest videos of 2005?

http://youtube.com/watch?...on%20Touch

Lavish is on Twista's last CD. It is a tribal breakbeat...weird stuff...provided with weird chorus by Twista and Pharell. Spacey.

Chorus: Twista + (Pharrell)]
You, you, you want the lavish crib and fancy cars
You want the face, on that Rolex shinin like the stars
Don't worry mayne, you could get it mayne
(If you look in the sky and you don't see your dream)
(Man don't feel defeated, cause trust me you can build it)

I didn't like the Lavish hook, but

yeah that's a cool beat that almost sounds like a techno beat at first.
