Well obviously not. I'm looking at what I said and what you said afterwards and the only thing I can come up with is that you were insinuating that he has to outsell Thriller in order for any comeback to be successful. If that's not what you meant then I honestly have no idea what you were talking about.

I was merely saying how some of you MJ fans think he's gonna return to the "Thriller" days and rule the music world and it will NEVER happen ever again. That's all I was saying.

The same way Michael will never return to his "Thriller" days is the same way, nobody else will ever match his "Thriller" days. Its a 2 way street way street there... razz

I don't remember anyone saying that. I certainly didn't. Nobody is going to get to that level ever again.

I didn't say anyone in HERE said that, I was speaking about a lot of MJ fans in general.

Yeah, but the kicker here is that I'm pretty sure that 99% of all music artists are sure glad their careers haven't ENDED up like MJ's as well. Works both ways indeed. wink

Why were you quoting me then? lol

Of the MJ fan community maybe 2% of them think he can recapture the Thriller era glory days. The very crazy and the very young.

I beg to differ..Usher clearly wants to be Michael Jackson so bad, the next thing he will start doing is hanging out with the kid from Two and a Half Men. lol

I'm far from being the most prolific poster on this site, but I've been here long enough to recognize a troublemaker that stands out. Prince.org is a relatively peaceful web community all and all, and compared to many other web communities slandering and name-calling is actually a very rare phenomenon here. Your posts have been less than sophisticated by their tone and content. Somebody will take you out on that and usually for a reason, so don't whine if people are criticizing your behaviour.

Please, save your little "Oops, he got me good, I better try and get him back" post for someone who cares. All someone has to do is go back and read who fired the first shot and that, my "Org Regular" friend, would be you. Don't start any shit and you won't have to worry about getting it right back in your face. Simple as that.

You decided to go after someone and now you're upset that that person was able to bang back on you. Now, let it rest and leave it alone. We're donw with this.

You aren't able to "bang buck" on anybody here (and please use proper English so I could at least attempt to understand a single sentence of yours without having to read it a couple of times), I seriously hope you don't have the feeling you've upstaged anybody on this thread.

You already got censored by the moderators and yet you still continue insulting people on the very same thread. It should be very simple to understand: if you get modded, the first thing to do is to calm down your tone - yet all your posts are nothing more than attacks and full of very juvenile language. Usually people even stop contributing to threads after that, but what do you do? You whine back like a 3rd grader. Save it for chat rooms, this is a discussion forum.

MJ could make a comeback easy IMO. He has one of the largest and most loyal fanbases on any artist in the industry. But whether he can tap into an audience outside of that is another matter.

You hear Invincible and you can tell he is so desperate to appeal to the masses again, and it comes at the price of him being true to himself. He created some of his best work from 1991-1997 but I fear he's far too concerned with words like "comeback" to ever create truly inspired work like that again.

You see glimpses of it, in songs like We've Had Enough and Speechless but that's all we've had really in the last eight years or so. Shit like Heartbreaker, Privacy, Cry... it screams of desperation. With crap like that he won't even connect with his hardcores let alone the mass general public.

To be fair to everyone there are many fans out there, not necessarily on this forum, who try to rationalize everything MJ does no matter how damaging it has been. There are also fans out there, again not necessarily on this forum, who truely believe some how or another MJ can do another Thriller...

Having said that I do not agree with those peeps who because of their own disdain for MJ and his lifestyle that they try and make him out to be a "One Hit" wonder. MJ was wowing audiences when the likes of Madonna and Prince were still in grade school. lol People go on about Thriller because it broke all records and MJ and no other artist since has come near to breaking that record which was set with Thriller.

But for me personally MJ musical legacy runs so much more deeper than just Thriller. For anyone who really knows his musical history OTW was really his 4th solo album and he did 20 albums with The Jacksons, which are littered with classics and gems and which till this day peeps continue to enjoy.

There are also Prince fans who think he can make another Sign 'O' The Times or outsell Purple Rain. There are Elvis fans who think he is still alive and that everthing he did was original. There are Beatles fans who think John Lennon is still alive and Paul McCartney is dead. There are Madonna fans who think the vocals on her records are sung live by her in a studio. So what's your point?

The point is I am confimring that there are MJ fans out there that do come across delusional and I am not saying they are the only type of fans, but then again we are not talking about Madonna or Prince fans here, are we.? But having said that I don't agree with the so-called "haters" who because of their own disdain for MJ they try and make it seem that his whole musical legacy was based on one sole album.

Probably if you read my post in it's entirty you would have gotten the point.. neutral

Interesting. Show me where "I" got censored? Care to show some proof of that? But I see you're obsessed with all of this so carry on. bored

Yeah, but NONE of them were ever charged with CHILD MOLESTATION either.

The fact is no matter how much you hate Michael, you don't know IF he did it or not. The fact remains, the kid and his family could be liars. (Which I think they are.) The only people who know are the kid and Michael himself, and G-D. You should not hate on someone for something YOU DON'T KNOW they did. At least his fans assume he is innocent, which in America, you are INNOCENT until proven GUILTY, which Michael wasn't. A jury didn't convict Michael and neither can you on the Org. Believe what you want, but YOU DON'T KNOW, so quit preaching it like you were there. Remember the saying, "If you can't say anything nice, don't say nothin'?" Well apply that here and move on.

3 things:

1 - Show me where I said he was guilty?

2 - Any grown-ass man that sleeps in the bed with kids that AREN'T his has some serious issues, which also makes MJ dumb to even put himself in a position to where any molestation COULD go down and/or leave himself open to be charged with child molestation.

3 - I can't hate a person who has zero impact on my life.
