Forgotten Chaka Khan Jam: "Tearin' It Up"

One of my favorite Chaka Khan jams is one that most people seem to have forgotten...."Tearin' It Up". This jam was hot! Give it up.

Yep. That's it. It's the second single. The first single was her remake of The Jackson Five's "Got To Be There".

This album contained a funky duet with Rick James "Slow Dancin".This track got alot of airplay on R&B stations but shockingly,it was never released as a single.Apparently,Motown (Rick's label) wouldn't allow it to be released as a single.

I don't have Chaka's album, I just have the two 45s from it. I do remember a Rick James duet with her back in the day back I can't remember how it sounds.
