They were largely forgotten and Adam became a minor superstar. Boy George was in Bow Wow Wow for a split second with Annabella but Malcom thought Boy was too effeminate. It's obvious if you hear I WANT CANDY(BOW WOW WOW), DOG EAT DOG(ADAM AND THE ANTS), WHITE BOY(CULTURE CLUB). m M [Edited 5/5/06 13:47pm] Actually Boy George stole the show. That's why he was either ousted or left. I am sure the effeminate part had something to do with it. He was in a band called Sex Gang Children or something. BWW used that line in their song Mile High Club. Subsequently, a band like that name so much they paid (I think BG for it) They went no where fast. Christian Zombie Vampires

I like them better than Adam and the Ants I Want Candy is the only song I know by them. Maybe they're good, I don't know. Were they bigger in England? I don't remember them being around in the 90's. I want Candy Baby Oh No Do you wanna hold me? (was a minor hit...but it was right below IWC in terms of popularity) Mile High Club Those were the bigger hits Other hits included WORK Louis Catorze C30C60C90 GO Go Wild in the Country See Jungle Christian Zombie Vampires

I liked a lot of the singles like "C30, C60, C90, Go!", "Do You Wanna Hold Me", "Mile High Club", etc. Are you talking about Bow Wow Wow? because Adam & The Ants did a song called Mile High Club, too. COMPLETELY different song. Christian Zombie Vampires

I just did a search for his lyrics and it's a different song from Bow Wow Wow's. That would have been too weird if they did the same song. It's bad enough they used to be the same band. Adams is off of Prince Charming...it's not nearly as good as BWW. Christian Zombie Vampires

That's news to me. The BWW song is about the new cassette revolution (of course those are pretty obsolete now) But the title refers to the length of time on a cassette. In the song she mentions how she can put all her music in her bag. Christian Zombie Vampires

i did think he was quite sexy a long long time ago.
Anyone remember when he did a cover of The Supreme's "Where did our love go?" on that old Motown 25 television special? that was actually a pretty funny performance.

The single was great, but the album was pretty bad from memory. yeah, it ain't as good as his "classic stuff", but the title track, room at the top and if u keep on are great. Pretty much the fiirst 5 tracks are great actually Also, "cant set rules about love" is one of the very best tracks he ever did. Wonderful song.
