Anyhoo, funny but true story: When "Brickhouse" was out, I was about 7 years old and I saw The Commordores on Soul Train (at least I think it was Soul Train) and I thought Walter "Clyde" Orange was my brother, who'd left home and joined the military. They looked just alike at the time. So for the next year when anyone asked about my brother, I would reply that, "He's in the tv making brick houses!" Hey, I was only 7! I finally got it though, when he came home in his uniform and he refused to show me the pictures of the "brickhouses" that were always locked in his footlocker but he kept showing his friends! | |
