Ok Ok I cheated, but wait, I honestly think All For You because she seemed so happy and free since she came out that f*cked up marriage and Velvet Rope I mean, "Rope Burn"...need I say more? and Janet is like...the epitomy of...well...amazingess.

Janet is her peak imo. I can honestly say that every album starting with Janet Jackson through Janet was better than the last.

After which it seemed to decline. Velvet Rope was good, All for You was meh/blah, and Damita Jo was a tad better than AFY, but not much.

I think Janet is great I just get tired of her act sometimes but I will buy a Janet album the week it comes out in a minute. She's an artist I can gurantee will have a song on the album that I will just looooove and totally relate to.

janet was her commercial peak, but the Velvet Rope was her best.

Janet is tha bomb! She has held her own for a longtime, like Prince and Madonna! Let's see Britney or Justin pull it off! NOT!!! "Janet" was definatly her commercial success album, and Damita was equally good in my book, but of course the media blew that era out of proportion due to the Super-flop-bowl. Had that not happened, we would have heard at least 4 commercial success releases from that album. Velvet was dark and nasty to me, I would rate that 3rd best. 1814 has so many memories attached to it for me, so it is my number one!

Janet's best album was 'Rhythm Nation 1814'. I never understood all of the love for 'janet.'; the album was half great, half filler. 'Velvet Rope' was better, but still majorly overrated by her fanbase, and the less said about 'All For You' the better.

I was a huge Janet fan for many years; I saw the woman in concert 3 times, bought multiple copies of her albums, and devoted many hours to defending her online. However, after the disappointing 'All For You', and the somewhat better 'Damita Jo', I had to reconcile myself to the fact that I've grown out of my Janet phase. I'll still buy her new album the day it comes out, download the single as soon as humanly possible, and watch MTV dilligently for her videos, but it'll be a halfhearted effort.
