The song is only a minute long, but what a minute. Weird and creepy, the way I like it. Synth sounds like Classic Prince; something he would have had in the vault.

In a way the song is a masterpiece.

i love this song, and the video for it is a trip, too.

it's from the residents' "commercial album", which is a 40-minute record made up of 40 one-minute songs. it was a commentary on their view of pop music at the time, which they considered to be little more than three-minute commercial jingles with the same thing repeated three times. so they cut out the fat and made their own surreal top 40 countdown. very fun album.
