I had a hard time finding Yma Sumac in stores. I didn't know which genre to look in. I finally found her in the 'vocals' section. I guess that's accurate. amazon.com has stuff. It's the way for me to go whenever I really want something that I can't find in stores around here. If you had a hard time finding her stuff up there....you can imgagine how shitty some stores are around here. I'd be musically depraved if I didn't have the internet. looking for you in the woods tonight Switch FC SW-2874-2863-4789 (Rum&Coke)

Just received mine in the mail. cool 3-D cover. The Devil jamming to left of the Kurt Cobain angel is Hunter S. Thompson. It cracks me up that Waldo is in the group. Kurt Loder does a piece on Prince and Cameron Crowe has a surprise for Anx. [Edited 5/6/06 16:55pm] a psychotic is someone who just figured out what's going on

Picked one up from the bookstore yesterday. Very cool cover concept that was different than I expected. I almost put it back after I had to wade through approx 12 pages of ads to get to the TOC. And they do have a "numbered silhouette" page for identification. However the folks in the back rows really got dicked. Even with the mag in your hands, it's hard to discern who some of them are. If it wasn't for the tell-tale top hat, thick eyebrows/mustache and long curly hair, Zappa would be one. tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...dID=182431 [Edited 5/7/06 16:11pm] "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. Some of the folks in the back rows are just clearer to me in 2-D than 3-D. And some it doesn't matter at all. Like Ozzy (to the left of Zappa). No Courtney Love that I can see. I'm wondering if there's some weird death-joke behind why they placed Kenny from South Park near John F. Kennedy? tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...dID=182431 "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. C'mon y'all."

The first thing I did was look for Prince. I admit I looked over that image thinking it was not him...it's a bad shot of him...but it is him...the first thought that came to mind was... 'WHY THE FUCK IS HE ALL THE WAY BACK THERE! AND WHY IS FIDDY CLOSER TO THE FRONT!' peace That is Prince... saw the magazine friday I have to see a copy of the mag myself because that does not look like Prince at all And yeah, why the hell aint he up in the front?

I'm surprised that they didn't put P in the front or second row, but yet, they put Madonna in front of Elvis?! Fidy got a much clearer and better position than many legends. No KISS? I'm sorry but they sold waaaay too many albums and made to big of an impact in the 70's (postive or negative) to not get ANYWHERE on the cover. No Iggy, no George Clinton, no Lenny Kravitz, no Outkast. But yet not only does Fidy gets a pristine spot, Snoop is way in the back? Nah. Granted, like I said, I'm just glad Hendrix is in the front row where he should be and Chuck Berry is front and center. Hendrix was the first person I looked for. I love John Lennon, but damn, two pics?! SynthiaRose said "I'm in love with blackguitaristz. Especially when he talks about Hendrix."

That's Stevie Nicks Considering it's the 1000th issue there are so many more deserving...and then again there are quite a few that won't stand the test of time and shouldn't be there at all. They're only there to move copies...this makes me think less of the whole thing. Why do you like playing around with my narrow scope of reality? - Stupify

nope if 50 cent weren't front and center on the cover, i might be inclined to agree. if they can put justin timberlake on the cover, they can squeeze the widow cobain into the picture.
