Heard of it? I wrote that shiz!

Oh, I remember that one!! I have the 45!
"You'd better get used to it, 'Cause I'll be around...." It reminds me of...well, Somewhere between George Duke's 1978 hit, "Movin On", and the part of the Doobie Bros.' "What A Fool Believes"... ... What would you compare it to? It's a light, breezy, late 70s pop/rock song...not unlike "What A Fool Believes" by the Doobie Brothers,or "Couldn't Get It Right" by the Climax Blues Band.If you like those two songs, you will love "Get Used To It".

paligap & DavidEye's explanations were very good. It's interesting that they both used the Doobies to describe it. Based on the rhythmic keyboard figure, i'd have to agree. It's nothing special... ~ Cool keyboard hook. ~ A nice melody ~ A bridge ~ A modulation ... On second thought, based on current Pop tunes, maybe it is something special. tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...dID=182431 "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. I haven't heard either of those. I remember some Doobie Bros. song from the 80s, I think. [Edited 5/5/06 19:20pm]
