Why cant online music stores have an option to pay more and have a cd pressed and sent to you?

Because CDs need to be pressed in large quantities to be affordable business. Whenever something is pressed on CD it's a whole lot more complex operation than manufacturing a CD-R at your home. Of course, Sananda wants to keep this as an internet download because he's mainly afraid the sales figures would be pretty damn disappointing compared to his days as a commercial artist. And they would be disappointing indeed, he's not delusional in that sense.

Once again Sananda delivers some incredible music!

Both volumes 1 AND 2 are great, really different from most music nowadays.

If you haven't heard it, make sure to check it out!

I'd love to check it out, but I haven't been able to find it even on peer2peer -networks that concentrate on rarities. giggle

No, I'm NOT going to pay anything for mp3 downloads, for chrissakes. All these artists are so delusional in that sense.

always good to see you lily...will this music ever see the light of day on pressed CDs like wildcard, or will mp3 be the only option? i like my sananda/TTD albums to be solid in my collection when i can possibly help it...just a little tradition. smile

i would love to be let loose with the task of re-designing those covers. i bet a lot of his fans would.

He had that really nice silhouette picture of him sitting under the tree on the A&V project pages. I thought that would have been the album cover.

Of course, I'm not sure if those are really the covers anyway, who could print a CD leaflet from so small jpg-pics? Or is he offering the .pdf's in large size somewhere as well?

Maybe Sananda can get his wife to burn some cdrs and covers...no need for commercial manufacturing

I hope you do realize how much work that is? His wife is a fashion professional anyway. lol

And it's not even profitable counting in all the work hours. It's terrible trying to fold all the inlays for instance, not to mention going through the process of actually arranging distribution for them from your own home. You can have CD-Rs replicated in factories too for larger quantities, but it's really for different level artists than TTD. The reason why Terry does this is because he doesn't feel the project is as professionally excecuted as his earlier albums and doesn't want it to be viewed exactly by the same high standards.
