I'm STILL waiting for my hit of Funkentelchy. I ordered the motherfunker two weeks ago, and have still received F-all. They said it shipped the day after I ordered it, but I'm just about ready to kill someone right now I'm only soothed by the fact that it SHOULD be worth the wait.

From reading that forum, it sounds like you have to email Ace Records and they will correct the problem. Anybody know any more specifics or Ace Records email address? I called the number on the back of the CD ( I have the US version from Westbound, which is the same as the ACE remaster ) and talked to Armen Boladian founder of Westbound Records. He told me to give it a couple of months and when the problem is fixed he would be glad to exchange the CD.

Almost fell off my chair when you said you actually spoke to Armen Boladian, the one and only.
I have the same US versions you have so I guess I'll be making a call on monday. Fantasy is reality in the world today. But I'll keep hangin in there, that is the only way.

I had already heard that its pretty much just him as far as Westbound. I asked him about the Funkadelic outtake album "Toys" that was supposed to come out. And we had a pretty good talk about how the buisness is being ran today.

Sounds like they don't want to just put any old thing out.

Have only the Funkadelic releases been remastered or the Parliament releases, too?

As I posted earlier, I have TOO many faves to pick a fave album. But if someone put a gun up to my head, I would probably say;
Parliament - "Mothership Connection" Funkadelic - "Free Your Mind And Your Ass Will Follow" SynthiaRose said "I'm in love with blackguitaristz. Especially when he talks about Hendrix."
nammie "What BGZ says I believe. I have the biggest crush on him." http://ccoshea19.googlepa...ssanctuary http://ccoshea19.googlepages.com

UPDATE
I've now got 'Mothership...', 'Funkentelechy...' and 'The Motor Booty Affair' from Parliament's side, and 'One Nation...', 'Standing On The Verge...', and 'Maggot Brain' from the Funkadelic side. I've also got Motor City Madness, which is a decent compilation of the Westbound Funkadelic stuff. They're all AMAZING. I wanna get every single album these crazy motherfunkers did now - though I'll be out on the streets within a month if I do I can now see how it's IMPOSSIBLE to posisbly rank any of the albums. They're all number one in their own different way.

That one's my person fave!
