It's an amazing CD , one of my favourite CDs ever by any artist . I have listened to it a lot since it was first released and I still love it . With a very special thank you to Tina: Is hammer already absolute, how much some people verändern...ICH hope is never so I will be! And if, then I hope that I would then have wen in my environment who joins me in the A....

I like it. Vibrator is my personal fav, but Wildcard had some jams also.

i listened to it alot that year - when it came out ... i still think "symphony or damn " and "vibrator" are better all the way thru .... but still ... "wildcard" is an amazingly brilliant pc of work that rarely gets mentioned by the press... and deserves to be listened to /played !!

Most of the songs are good (if not up there with his very best), but because the CD is so long all of them are pretty basic mid-tempo cuts the album can get boring somewhere midway through it. There are simply far too many non-descrit songs like "Love Can You Hear Me?", "Be Willing" or "Reflecting". They work against each other.
File under "Best listened to on Sunday mornings".

"WildCard" is the bomb but I recommend that you get the "Joker's Edition" which has the songs "What Shall I Do," "Testify," and "Girl." But both versions of the cd are great. It's definitely one of my favorite cd's ever.

File under "Best listened to on Sunday mornings". I generally skip every other song--literally I listen to 1, 3, 5... and then at some point switch to evens My Legacy

I did NOT like it as much as I wanted to. It's just okay in my book. I do love TTD though. His best is Vibrator.

There are 3 different track configurations for "Wildcard" and they all have that slow and boring mid-section intact whilst quality tracks like "Girl" and "Paradise Postponed" were left out for some reason. I'm quite puzzled over why "Paradise Postponed" wasn't on the retail version of the record - I can't say whether it or "Benediction: Sugar Ray" is the better song, but I think he just wanted the finishing piece to be a bit more uplifiting. He totally butchers "Sayin' About You" live too, and it's the catchiest one on the album.
I recently gave one of my copies of this album to my Mom, actually. Should tell something about the target audience for this kind of music.
