As a retired MJ junkie, let me just say I think he's an all-too-fitting candidate for "Most Overrated Pop Artist Ever." There's no disputing his two-mile-long list of accomplishments, but c'mon: Same basic, boring show no matter where he is? Check. Dated, overdone albums and music videos after "Thriller"? Check. Scary, inhuman nose, one of the fakest, ugliest chins ever, and horrible wig no matter what some of his fans proclaim about his "hotness" ( )? Check, check, and check.

Madge and Janet get dickrode (pardon that oxymoron ) too much, too, and I was a huge fan of them also, once upon a time.

Alicia Keys is one of the most overrated modern artists ever. Her voice is not THAT fantastic, her piano-playing is not THAT un-basic from what I've heard so far on record, her songwriting is derivative, and her choice in producers is not an honest revival of soul, it's a request to "please play me on TRL."
