It may be too late but just in case:

India uses "Video" to feature, as well as, become a video girl and "Not my hair" to go diva (and other things). Is she showing us another part of India?, is she mocking those things? or is she just having fun? ...also does she feel trapped in the "earthy" vibe she's created? if so would she consider acting as another way to have fun with these different characters?

There's nothing wrong with this...just wondering what was behind it. Is it her people telling her to "re-invent"...keep it interesting, is this her wanting to do new things?

I like her as she is but I wonder if she feels trapped in the natural thing...especially with the pressure to keep it fresh/new and doing this goes against many of the things she sings about.

Only saying that it seems India might be using the video as an outlet...a way to "show the diva" without really being one. If so, it's a clever way around actually re-inventing herself.

It's unfortunate that it's almost required that an artist has to become something new every other year.

But then there's India that can lose her fan base by becoming something new. Maybe she want's to experiment but really can't.

Just commenting on the two sides of that spectrum. Both have their negatives. Was wondering if she felt trapped in having to be "natural" India.
