Best falsetto of all time!

Now we all know back in the day Prince had a killer falsetto. Do Me Baby was classic as was Adore. However, my vote for best falsetto goes to Howard Hewett of Shalanar fame...hands down!! Howard Hewett's voice in general was absolutely incredible.

howard has/had an incredible voice. It was so pure, especially on tracks like Somewhere There's A Love.

But my vote goes to Eddie Kendricks. His voice on Just My Imagination still brings tears to my eyes.

I hate to sound like one of the ass kissers but I must admit, Prince's falsetto is my favorite. It just has a sassiness about it that no one else's has and the screams are like orgasm to my ears.

I also love Philip Bailey's from EWF and Wayne Cooper's from Cameo. The guy from The Stylistics is great also. Also, the guys from Blue Magic, The Delfonics, and Enchantment.

Damn, I didn't know he died. I'm so tired of the good ones dropping. Is that him on "There'll Never Be"? That's a good falsetto also.

You're close...but not quite:

1.Prince
2.Howard
3.Stokley Williams (Mint Condition)
4.Smokey
5.Don't know his name but he's the vocalist with Enchantment
6.Eddie

I base my list on what they can do live...El, Bobby or Wayne didn't have it in em when they had to do it in concert...El?...good lawd! he sounds like two cats gettin' it on live.

whoknows

Eddie Kendricks. On "I'm Gonna Make You Love Me" he could make a grown man weep. By the way Smokey actually isn't a falsetto singer. He's always quite emphatic on this point. He sometimes veers into falsetto but generally his voice is just naturally high
