It's funny because MTV wouldn't play this video unless Herbie's label "cleverly disguised" him in the video. Herbie said the original video featured him and his band more than the robots.

This is very funny. I don't know anyone who actually likes it. Guess classic status depends on 'the audience'.

The song itself I got tired of real quick. But the video was fun and amusing. I wouldn't really call it scary.

The video used to bother me in a strange sorta way. The music was cool, I guess. That song reminds me of cats breakdancing on some cardboard.

all you need is a copy of "Change the beat" by fab 5 freddy" on Celluoid records and at the end.. the "Ahhh this stuff is reallllly fresh" the scratch is from the "Fresh" part

What year did this come out, I'm sure it still during the time when eMpTV refused to play videos by Black artist, plus Herbie Hancock's music is diametrically opposite of DURAN DURAN, Men At Work and whatever else was playing at the time, I'm still surprised that it did so well on eMpTV.
