Count the days, count the daze...like Frankie Beverly without Maze...
Predictable, I know, but somebody had to say it.

They cool, they have kinda a spring/ summer type of sound. Very laid back and jazzy. Gonna check them out with P-Funk at the Comerica Stadium in Detroit Aug. 17th.

Fellas:
Don't go to a MAZE gig without a date. You will be one sad-looking Poindexter without someone to cuddle. test

I'm tired of them. The road you choose to walk in this life, is a road that leads to the next.....

Got to put it down for Maze featuring Frankie Beverly. They kept that soul music vibe going well into the 80's I love Frankie's voice and the background vocals of the guys in Maze awe spine-tingling. This is the epitome of what SOUL music is about. Get their live 1981 live album called MAZE FEATURING FRANKIE BEVERLY...LIVE IN NEW ORLEANS. This is an incredible album.
Author Nelson George gives them props in his awesome book called THE DEATH OF RHYTHM AND BLUES. This book is a must read for R&B/FUNK fans of the 70's.
