First of all, I gotta admit, I'm not the biggest Tool fan around but damn if their new album aint great. I like A Perfect Circle better in general but the new album is really good. It's not drastically different or anything it's just less "agro" then normal. It's Tool + Black Sabbath and some Pink Floyd all in one. Plus the packaging is the coolest thing I've seen in ages. Almost worth the price of admission.

I think people who dig A Perfect Circle more than Tool will dig this new album and by the same token those who don't like A Perfect Circle will probably not like the new album as well. I like it and like I said before, I'm not a big Tool fan. It's easier to listen too then some of their other albums. IMO.
