He must be on the bill only because he is British. That's like asking Rob Thomas to play, but because Blunt is from the U.K., he must somehow be perceived as cooler. I dunno.

Madonna's kind of unusual, too. I don't think she's done festivals before.

Madonna definitely is not your typical Coachella artist, but her music nowadays is very electronic and wouldn't sound totally out of place in between the other artists booked for that stage. If it was Madonna circa 'True Blue' or 'Bedtime Stories' then it wouldn't work.

Yeah, that's true. I didn't notice the diff. stages. Oakenfold has even remixed her before.
