David Bowie CD Recommendations

I've been on this Bowie kick all this week and these are the albums I have

Best Of Bowie
The Rise and Fall Of Ziggy Stardust
Alladin Sane
Young Americans

I want to get more of his albums. Which ones do you all suggest I pick up next? Thank in you advance for your help.

Get the two disc editon of "Heathen". It's worth it.

I just bought "The Platinum Collection" and I've been on a bit of a Bowie kick lately, too, and will be adding to my collection as well.

Since you've got his glam masterpieces, Ziggy and Aladdin, I would suggest filling in the gaps around those and moving forward chronologically. His music is most exciting and best explored when you can see his evolution unfold. I would recommend getting "Hunky Dory", "Diamond Dogs" and maybe "The Man Who Sold the World" and then branching out from there.

Oh and have fun! biggrin

Scary Monsters. His last glimpse at perfection.
