Am I the only one here who thinks that "Body Language" is easily her coolest record?

I post here out of respect to the thread creator, and seeing his mind click about the creation of this thread months ago.

J'adore Madonna. J'adore Confessions, and it's place alongside Ray of Light and American Life as the Trifecta of the Madonna of the New Millennia. I've never had the slightest interest in Kylie or anything she's done. Ergo, I have no business commenting on what she has or hasn't done.

This thread makes me want to pick up some Kylie to understand what the deal is with her. I just don't know where to start.

i like kylie. i like madonna.

kylie has been doing madonna for years. i don't think confessions sounds like a kylie record but if it did, kylie owes madonna by this point anyway so its all good.

in my opinion, though, madonna has been doing dance music since the beginning. she's done all sorts of styles of dance music. she lives in the uk now so it only makes sense that she would make a record that epitomizes europop. to me it still sounds like madonna. i listen to both ladies and i've never thought of kylie while listening to confession.

If she paid enough not to have them credited, OK, but she sure must have done a real number on you, a Donna Summer/early 80's fan, not to notice the obvious. Donna Summer even said she was getting cash out of this deal, so she was happy Madonna decided to sample her song. You don't remember this? Guess not. You posted it months ago.

And no, Janet's new single does NOT sample the Sheila E. song.
