Madonna "Confessions Tour" Thread Part 2

Here's the latest news: A new member has joined the cast of the "Confessions" Tour. Her name is Nicky Richards and she is one of the backup singers. She will be joining longtime backup vocalist Donna Delory.Nicky has worked with Jamiroquai,Anastasia and she can be heard on the "Chicago" movie soundtrack. This will be her first time working with Madonna.A few pics of her:

In other news...Madonna's 2004 tour documentary"I'm Going To Tell You A Secret" is finally being released on June 6.At CDUniverse, you can pre-order it.There are 2 versions. One version is just the DVD and it is $13.99.The other version is the DVD and a CD,and the price is $20.74.Not sure what will be on the CD (live songs? remixes? Who knows?),but I already pre-ordered my copy.

Um no. I still don't believe she's doing that song nor do I belive she's going to crucify herself.

Lawdy, I can't believe the price of tickets for anyone that didn't buy face value and are now stuck with brokers. Any extra tix for Montreal (4) hit me up.

her ticket prices are outrageous. i don't know that i'd even pay as much to see prince or bowie. if she ever lowered herself to doing a tour in more intimate venues with reasonable ticket prices, i might be interested in seeing her. i think she'd do a great cabaret-style show.

Give her another 10 years Anx...
Dayum...I just heard front floors in Cal and Vegas - close to $5K ea. Somebody's making $.

OK, all I need are 4 decent Montreal. Gladly pay a service charge...BUT NOT THE KIND OF SERVICE CHARGES THESE BROKERS ARE MAKING. And what's with these ticketmaster auctions. How can they proclaim a sold out show then release a bunch of tix to soak you in an auction? Such greed!

I agree. SHe should do what P does. All tix same prices. Presales to members and if you get em...you get em. Cheaper seats to the nose bleeds. There will always be scalpers...by charging ridiculous prices doesn't equate to squeezing them out.

Yeah the auctions ure unreal. You can't get real tix, but you can get auctioned one. It just prolificates scalping IMO. And what about the VIP seats? Shouldn't members be able to access those? Those go normally to industry types. But for what they are..THOSE are worth the price that folks are asking for.

i have pretty much decided to either wait it out or sit it out. i may just buy a wonderful pair of shoes instead. i've had some at cost offers from people on craigslist but i just can't bring myself to pay $235 (total) for two upper level, nosebleed seats. why pay 235 to watch something on a jumbotron? i think a lot of people are feeling the same which would explain why you were still able to get $350 seats a few days AFTER they were on sale.

personally, i'd prefer to give dolce and gabbana my money directly rather than give it to Vadge so she can buy lourdes a new frock. lol

bitch is not tori, let's get that straight! lol nah, we'll see how it pans out. i would honestly prefer a ticket to hawaii (actually, a ticket to honolulu from san fran via southwest airlines is CHEAPER than a madonna ticket!) or a new pair of n.d.c's or something. if i can get two tickets for the cost of one, i'm there!

That sounds perfect. Which island(s) would you visit? Make sure you bring along Pele for some appropriate mood music.

Lourdes does not need a new frock...rumors this time is it's a new jewel encrusted one-of-a-kind hair brush only found in the Appelachen Mountians. That And Rocco needs new shoes.

would? honey, i have and do far too often. shoes are what keep you connected to the ground, what you wear on your feet is a state of mind!

and for a good pair of shoes, 350 is a steal. other than my gym shoes, its been a while since i've spent less than 395. nod i'm way real about my shoes!

besides, shoes can last a long time and can be used frequently. vadge's concert is two hours of one day. the scale weighs heavier on the fashion side! lol

boxed I've never paid more that 100 on a pair of shoes...Though recently my gal pal took me into a store and I was really wowed by the shoes...but could wrap my head around the price.

I don't think I'm all that shocked....Looks like she is doing the same damn venues as before...Now if she did different venues this time out even with crazy ticket prices, I think they would sell out. But bitch can't do Michigan....Fuck her. Hope the tour sinks like a stone (Diana Ross "Return To Love" style) and she finally sees the error of her ways!
