Anyhooo, that being said--- I like the stuff from my childhood; Our Love, This Will Be, Inseparable, and I Got Love On My Mind.... I'm glad to hear she's still looking good. I remember when she was on Oprah to promote Ask A Woman Who Knows and in those very first few seconds after the curtain opened up and she appeared I swear to G*d I thought it was Janet Jackson. The long black hair, black outfit, slender, beautiful smile... she looked gorgeous and she sang sang sang. She was glowing too since she had recently married and her husband was in the audience (unfortunately they soon divorced) but Oprah commented on how great she looked. Especially for someone who's been through some hardships she did not looked tucked, pulled, botoxed, plumped, swollen, twisted or any sort of the madness that women too-often look like today. Just pure. Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off

Actually, "Piano in the Dark" was sung by another singer named Brenda Russell. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

But back to Natalie: all of the songs listed are so well done that it's hard to choose. I really do like her early work (which is why I have several on vinyl)and now that I think about it, I guess "I've Got Love on my Mind" and "I'm Catching Hell" DO stand out a bit! Never trust anything spoken in the presence of an erection.
