Sorry to hear that. It's sad that Roger is no longer with us, he was a very talented musician and I would very much like to see him inducted into the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame, an honor he really deserves.

Damn, I just realized that today April 25th is the 7th year anniversary of Roger's death, (April 25, 1999). My heart just aches everytime I think of Roger's untimely death. I can just imagine the incredible influences he would've made in the industry TODAY. I have always wondered what a collaboration between Roger and Prince would've sounded like....two incredible musicians & excellent guitarists, those incredible minds putting something together musically ...that would just blow u away...
I have been blessed to have met and spent time with Roger when he did a show at this small club on my 26th b-day here in Houston (at a club off the corner of Westpark and Gessner...it's now a chinese resturant) back in 1993 on March 21. When I purchased my tickets for the show earlier that evening,one of Roger's tour guys was at the club and overheard me and the club manager chatting, I can't recall his name, but he asked the manager to seat me and my best girlfriend at the center table in front of the stage, and promised me I would have the time of my life.
Later that night at the show, Roger brought me on stage, sang to me, we danced, he was such a wild man, lol with an incredible aura...pure coolness,funny, and damn was he ever so sexy. My friend and I ended up on stage with the band for the rest of the show, playing tambourines, and shaking our asses and singing as well. After the show, we went back stage and just sat and talked with Roger and his band members, we took pictures as well. I will always have mad love for Roger....(I had to share that)...I hope that his legacy is NEVER forgotten and that he is one day inducted in to the R&R HALL OF FAME.

Thanks for sharing your cool story MsMarie. I would very much like to see Roger inducted into the 'Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame' too.
