What's George Michael's best solo LP? I only have his Best of, I love most of the songs...but no LPs (except "Faith.") Which is the best one? I'll leave it alone babe...just be me

For sentimental and artistic reasons, I'd say Listen Without Prejudice, but I was thinking on my way to work this morning that Older might have become my favorite over time.

I know Faith pretty well as it is my favorite. I own Listen Without Prejudice, which is probably his "best" of the two.

They're all worth having, but I find that Listen Without Prejudice is the one I return to the most.

Older, for me, has it all. It was his coming out album, as well as his coming of age one. A beautiful, sad, dark, understated album. With Fastlove on it, which is my favourite George Michael song. There are three sides to every story. My side, your side, and the truth. And no one is lying. Memories shared serve each one differently

Maybe it's because it's just not his best - overlong, way too much filler (why two versions of the title song? - it's not that good), some utterly dreadful lyrics (American Angel in particular is embarassing, no matter how heartfelt), and this sadly obscures the half a dozen great songs there. Shoot the Dog is my second favourite George song after Fastlove. Really hope he plays it at Earls Court. There are three sides to every story. My side, your side, and the truth. And no one is lying. Memories shared serve each one differently

its only an ok record in my opinion. some very good songs but some very bland songs as well. I didn't like Patience at all. Faith and Listen without Prejudice are both really strong. Faith is more of a pop album(it sounds like a combo of Madonna and Prince to me) and Listen is kind of an adult contemporary album. I'm still bitter that my copy of the best of doesn't have "As" with Mary J. Blige.
