It was a buddy icon meant for AOL Instant Messanger but I guess the shit was animated because whenever I saved them, the picture that came up was the words "Damita Jo" in that smarmy silvery font, and I wanted some other pic of her. here's a little more info on Jan's new album from Jd in blander Magazine.
Blender mentioned that Jam and Lewis, Dupri is doing their best to bottle a little of 80's style techo-pop lightning. " I think her record needs to sound like old Human League records." Dupri says. "That's the type of sound I want, with drums right up in your face." When Blender asks to hear some of the tracks, Dupri demurs. "Naw, I can't do that. It's not ready. It's in the kitchen cooking." In conversation, Dupri has a tendency to swing wildly from cockiness to self-deprecation, from sly jokes to indignation about the record industry powers arrayed against him. But when the subject of Janet comes up, he's 100% the gallant beau, zealously guarding her privacy and defending her against "all that nonsense that gets talked." [Edited 4/23/06 13:35pm] | |
