[Edited 4/29/06 12:28pm] You mean with Eddie? I know what you mean. I've always thought his style was simialr to Robin Williams. His train of thought delivery that's just jumps all over the place I mean. edit to say that this picture you posted just answered my question. I thought you were talking about Eddie Izzard. [Edited 4/29/06 12:31pm] i see. eddie has yet to dissapoint me. margaret... well, the newer is okay, but this little heard album is BY FAR her best. it contains the marvelous "hi my name is gwen, and i am here to wash your vagina" bit, which is played very subtley on this album. the gwen voice is timid and bored, which makes it funny. i saw that she brought that bit back for one of the "now that i am popular" concert dvds, and suddenly it was "HI MY NAME IS IS GWEN AND I'M HERE TO WASH YOUR VAGINA! HI MY NAME IS IS GWEN AND I'M HERE TO WASH YOUR VAGINA! HI MY NAME IS IS GWEN AND I'M HERE TO WASH YOUR VAGINA!" ::run to other side of stage:: HI MY NAME IS IS GWEN AND I'M HERE TO WASH YOUR VAGINA!HI MY NAME IS IS GWEN AND I'M HERE TO WASH YOUR VAGINA!HI MY NAME IS IS GWEN AND I'M HERE TO WASH YOUR VAGINA! VAGINA" it became really annoying and over the top. while i am happy she got famous and popular again, it has made her art suffer drastically. she was better when no one was paying attention and she had to fight for it. Have to seen his site? He has ringtone downloads for your cell phone and wake-up calls that are hilarious. But I can't download them because I'm not in the UK. I never got into Margaret Cho actually. And I haven't heard this album either. I have a few of Eddie's stand-up shows on DVD and I was actually really disappointed in "Sexie" for example. There were just way too many silent audience moments that took him too long to recover from and he seemed a bit high actually. I haven't seen/heard all of his work in stand-up though, but I do know that from what I've heard I like "Dress To Kill" the best. "Unrepeatable" is good too. also, these two Dick Gregory albums may not be "comedy" records in the strictest sense, but as standup social comentary, they must be heard. Relevant even in the new millenium.... ....
