She will never be missed and the sad part is some people are actually asking for her return. Why? Lauryn Hill, I can see. Truth Hurts? Hell no. I guess she found out that the truth REALLY does hurt. Ouch! that hurt! I don't know I think she's talented. Well at least her first cd was good in my opinion.

Okay, so on the radio, Tweet is only really known for "Oops (Oh My)", "Call Me", "Turn Da Lights Off", etc... all the R'nB stuff. But pick up either of her albums and you'll discover she's not just another one in the R'nB-gurl pack: She's also a confessional, guitar-playing singer-songwriter, and IMO, a highly decent one at that.

She wasn't a video ho but her appeal was just like one, IMO. Living to die and I'll die to live again - 360 degrees - comprehend

I think Tweet got pigeon-holed into the "Missy protege" as well as the "Who's our next Aaliyah?" search. I think Missy' influence has made Tweet into something she didn't want to be - That VA/Missy/Timbaland sound when in all actuality she's probably a Neo Soul vibish chick. I did like Truth's second cd, produced by Raphael Saadiq. It came out in 2004 on his record label.
Fatima Robinson (I love Fatima as a dancer) directed the video for the 1 and only single "I'm Ready now"

Oh, you know I'm ready for Kelis, and Raphael is doing the bulk of production too... He had the best songs on the last cd. "Kelis Was Here" will be in my hands on day 1. I will miss the Neptunes sound from the first 2 albums, but ya know people move on.

i thought Truth Hurts last album produced by Raphael Saadiq was decent. I haven't heard her first album with Dre and them...although I did hear that the album was pretty good.
Tweet is okay, but i never heard her whole album neither. Joe was decent, he didn't sound like everybody else, although he did get on my nerves that summer had had that song with Big Pun - "Don't Want to be a Player (remix)"...if they didn't play that song out that summer...!!! Now if we talkin' bout R&B acts that should really get together....i know i've said it before, and i will say it again.... Raphael need to go get Dwayne and Carl and churn out another 3T album!!! I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

Whatever you wanna say about how this chick was packaged and sold to the public, she is talented and can sing I didn't feel her with the gangsta vibe and Sadiiq tapped into some really cool areas with her, however she isn't being explored properly as an artist. She needs the right music and production without relying on the ho aspect and she could hit. co sign. one really good example of her talent is her cover of for your precious love on the ali soundtrack Yesterday is dead...tomorrow hasnt arrived yet....i have just ONE day...
...And i'm gonna be groovy in it!
